$2,000 - $2,000 CAD monthly

Start Your Career in the Skilled Trades

Are you the person who likes to figure out how things work, fix what's broken, and learn new skills?

Fraserway RV is looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined person to join our Halifax team as a PDI Technician. This is an entry-level opportunity to gain practical experience working with electrical, plumbing, appliances, mechanical systems, and more.

You don't need RV experience. You need the curiosity to learn, the reliability to do the job right, and an interest in building a career as a technician. With training and experience, this role can be a starting point for a career in RV service and skilled trades.

As part of our commitment to supporting our technicians, Fraserway RV will provide new service technicians with up to $2,000 in tools when they join our Halifax team. It's our way of helping you get started and giving you the tools you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

You'll help inspect, prepare, and maintain RVs before they are delivered to customers.

Your Day-to-day Work May Include:

Performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used RVs
Identifying and addressing basic issues before an RV reaches the customer
Performing minor electrical, plumbing, appliance, and mechanical repairs
Assisting technicians with repairs and other service work
Learning how different RV systems operate and how to troubleshoot them
Helping with RV setup and preparation for delivery
Completing work orders and documenting completed work
Moving and organizing units around the dealership and service area
Keeping your work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized

Who We’re Looking For

This could be a great fit if you’re currently:

Working in an entry-level automotive or trades position
Working in construction, maintenance, or general repair
A recent graduate of a trades or technical program
Someone who has developed hands-on skills through automotive work, home projects, or similar experience
Looking for a career where you can learn a skilled trade rather than simply looking for your next job

You don't need to know how to repair an RV. We'll teach you.

What Matters Most Is That You're:

Mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands
Curious and willing to learn
Reliable and willing to take direction
Comfortable solving problems and figuring things out
Detail-oriented and take pride in doing quality work
Able to work independently while being part of a team

What We Offer

Starting your career shouldn't mean staying in an entry-level role forever. At Fraserway RV, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and develop skills across multiple RV systems.

You'll Receive:

Full-time, year-round employment
Hands-on training and opportunities to develop your technical skills
Exposure to electrical, plumbing, appliances, mechanical systems, and other trades
Opportunities to progress into more advanced technician roles
Comprehensive health and dental benefits
Employer-matched RRSP program
Employee and family bursary program
Employee discounts on RVs, parts, and service
A supportive, team-oriented work environment

Why Fraserway RV?

For more than 55 years, Fraserway RV has helped Canadians experience the RV lifestyle. As Canada's largest RV company, we have dealerships and service operations across the country.

When you join Fraserway, you're joining a company where you can learn new skills, build experience, and develop a long-term career.

Ready to Get Started?

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a career as a technician, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and start building your career with Fraserway RV.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted. A background check is required as part of the hiring process.
