Autoport Limited is hiring full-time Service Department employees in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia!
At Autoport Limited, you can expect an exciting and interesting environment where you will be able to thrive in a close-knit, safety-focused culture. This is an entry-level position, but there is no need to stop there; within Autoport, there is ample opportunity for growth, with tenured employees of 20+ years.
This position plays an important role in supporting vehicle preparation operations by performing a variety of installation and mechanical tasks, assisting our Category A Red Seal Technicians. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow established procedures while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team setting, and is comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.
Qualifications And Requirements
Chances are, we handled the car you drive today. As a transportation leader in the automotive industry, Autoport handles more than 2 million import and domestic vehicles annually. We are well positioned to offer seamless access to key ports and global trade. Responsibilities
Support vehicle preparation operations by performing installation and mechanical tasks. Assist Category A Red Seal Technicians while following established procedures and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Requirements
Applicants must be punctual and reliable, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. They must work well in a team, follow quality and safety standards, and be able to work outdoors in all weather; service shop or automotive experience is an asset.
