Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Partnerships professional based in Canada.

This is a flexible, performance-based opportunity for well-connected professionals who can introduce established U.S. businesses to a growing AI and data technology company. You will leverage your professional network to identify potential customers and connect decision-makers with relevant business opportunities. There is no requirement to leave your current job, work full-time, or commit to an exclusive partnership. Successful referrals can generate substantial rewards, with a minimum bonus of $50,000 or 6% of the customer's sign-up value, whichever is greater. You can refer as many qualified companies as your network allows, with no limit on potential earnings. For those interested in a deeper commercial relationship, there may also be opportunities to participate directly in sales, earn additional commissions, and receive equity.

Accountabilities

As an independent referral partner, you will use your business relationships and network to identify qualified U.S.-based companies and facilitate credible introductions. The partner company will evaluate opportunities and manage the sales process through to closing.

Identify and introduce U.S.-based businesses with at least 20 full-time employees and a minimum of three years of operating history.
Leverage relationships with business owners, executives, investors, operators, and other decision-makers to generate qualified customer referrals.
Focus on companies in sectors such as accounting, law, IT, sales, and other industries with significant desk-based work.
Identify organizations with larger workforces and longer operating histories, as these may represent stronger potential customer opportunities.
Submit customer referral details through the affiliate program registration process.
Establish introductions that help decision-makers understand the potential business opportunity and agree to an initial conversation.
Build on existing relationships with private equity firms, venture capital funds, startup networks, holding companies, and conglomerates to identify multiple potential customers.
Maintain the flexibility to make additional referrals without exclusivity requirements or limits on the number of introductions.
If mutually interested after a successful referral, consider becoming more directly involved in sales opportunities and deal closing.

Requirements

This opportunity is suited to highly networked individuals with strong business instincts and the credibility to connect organizations with relevant commercial opportunities. Traditional sales experience is not essential, but the ability to reach decision-makers and make valuable introductions is critical.

A strong professional network involving U.S.-based business owners, executives, investors, operators, or other decision-makers.
Ability to introduce established U.S. companies with at least 20 full-time employees and three years of operating history.
Established relationships in industries such as accounting, legal services, IT, sales, or other desk-based business sectors.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to make credible introductions and secure decision-maker conversations.
Good business judgment and the ability to recognize organizations that could benefit from relevant AI and data solutions.
Connections with private equity firms, venture capital funds, startup ecosystems, holding companies, or conglomerates are a significant advantage.
Comfortable operating independently and managing referrals alongside existing professional or business commitments.
No requirement to be based in the United States; however, all referred companies must be U.S.-based.
No traditional sales background or full-time commitment is required.

Benefits

High-value referral rewards: Earn $50,000 or a 6% customer sign-up bonus, whichever is greater, for each qualifying customer successfully closed through your referral.
