Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive, Montreal based in Canada.

Join a fast-growing sales organization bringing innovative, AI-powered physical security technology to enterprise customers across multiple industries. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own a territory across the Greater Montreal region, focusing on acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth within the mid-enterprise market. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and product demonstrations to negotiations and closing strategic deals. Building relationships with senior executives, customers, and channel partners, you will act as a trusted advisor on modern security solutions. You will develop targeted territory strategies, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and consistently work toward ambitious revenue goals. This opportunity is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a competitive, high-growth environment and enjoys developing new markets while delivering meaningful customer impact.

Accountabilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: Manage opportunities from initial prospecting and outreach through qualification, product demonstrations, trials, strategic negotiations, and closing.
  • Drive new business acquisition: Identify, develop, and close new customer accounts across mid-enterprise markets, with a strong focus on greenfield opportunities and net-new business.
  • Achieve revenue targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales quotas while contributing to broader team performance and revenue growth.
  • Develop territory strategies: Build and execute targeted sales plans for the Greater Montreal region, identifying high-potential accounts and opportunities across industries such as hospitality, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and the public sector.
  • Engage executive stakeholders: Build relationships with C-level executives and other decision-makers, communicating the business value of integrated, AI-powered physical security solutions.
  • Build product and market expertise: Develop a detailed understanding of the product portfolio, customer use cases, and physical security market to deliver compelling, consultative sales conversations.
  • Generate pipeline proactively: Use phone calls, emails, online demonstrations, trials, and other outreach methods to create new opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Manage forecasting and CRM activities: Maintain accurate opportunity records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates to support reliable business planning.
  • Collaborate with channel partners: Work with customers and channel partners throughout the sales process, supporting engagement, negotiations, and successful commercial outcomes.
  • Travel to support business growth: Travel regularly, including domestic and international trips as required, to meet customers and partners, develop opportunities, and collaborate with colleagues.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally selling enterprise B2B software, technology, or comparable solutions.
  • A demonstrated track record of developing greenfield territories, acquiring new customers, and closing net-new accounts in commercial or enterprise sales.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills, with the motivation and persistence to build a pipeline and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to establish rapport, develop trusted relationships, and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions and articulate business value to a range of stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented mindset, with curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales methodology is an advantage.
  • A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is a strong asset.
  • Must reside in the Greater Montreal region to manage the assigned territory effectively.
  • Must be independently authorized to work in Canada. Visa sponsorship or the transfer of existing employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, with travel expected to exceed 50% of working time, including domestic and international travel as business needs require.

Benefits

  • Annual on-target earnings (OTE): CAD $260,000–$320,000. This range includes base compensation and commissions, where applicable. Actual compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal compensation considerations.
  • Additional compensation opportunities: Depending on the role and eligibility, additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).
  • Healthcare coverage: Nationwide medical, vision, and dental plans. At least one plan covers 100% of employee premiums, and family premiums are covered at 80% across all plans.
  • Health and financial wellness: Health Savings Account (HSA) with annual employer contributions and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Mental health support: Expanded mental health resources to support employee well-being.
  • Family benefits: Paid parental leave and fertility benefits.
  • Flexible time off: Paid holidays, extended company-wide holidays, flexible paid time off, and personal sick time.
  • Professional development: A stipend to support learning and career growth.
  • Wellness and fitness: Benefits designed to support physical health and overall well-being.
