  • Coach, develop, and support recruiting team members, fostering strong performance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead complex and senior-level recruitment processes, including Director, Vice President, and executive searches, while building strong talent pipelines.
  • Advise senior leaders on hiring strategies, talent decisions, market insights, and recruitment priorities.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve recruiting processes, systems, and reporting to increase hiring quality, efficiency, and predictability.
  • Identify and introduce AI-powered tools, automation, and innovative workflows that enhance recruiting productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve candidate assessment, structured interviewing, selection practices, and accountability throughout the hiring process.
  • Use recruitment analytics and business insights to anticipate talent needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver solutions that support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including senior-level leadership responsibilities and executive recruitment.
  • Previous experience leading recruiting teams or talent acquisition functions in a scaling technology company or B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on recruiting with strategic workforce planning, operational leadership, and team development.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to advise, influence, and constructively challenge senior business leaders.
  • Proven success designing, improving, and scaling recruitment processes, systems, and hiring outcomes.
  • Expertise in structured interviewing, candidate assessment, recruitment analytics, and effective hiring manager partnerships.
  • Experience using AI, automation, and recruitment technology to improve hiring efficiency and team productivity.
  • Strong business acumen, independent judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary: Approximately CAD $150,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
  • Competitive benefits package.
  • Paid vacation.
  • Life leave days to accommodate personal needs and unexpected life events.
  • Team lunches and company offsites.
  • A supportive and rewarding work environment recognized among Ottawa’s Best Places to Work in 2026.
  • Commitment to professional development and long-term career growth.
  • An inclusive, barrier-free workplace, with accommodations available throughout the interview process.
