Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect based in Canada.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional to shape scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions for diverse client environments.

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will translate complex business requirements into robust technical architectures that support long-term growth and operational efficiency.

You will work across multiple Salesforce clouds, designing integrations, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards.

Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams, you will provide architectural leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.

Your expertise will help establish development best practices, strengthen platform security, and deliver seamless connections between Salesforce and external systems.

In a collaborative, innovation-driven consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to solve complex challenges, influence technical decisions, and contribute to exceptional client experiences.

This role is ideal for a technically strong architect who enjoys combining hands-on expertise, strategic thinking, and continuous professional development.

Accountabilities

Solution architecture and technical design: Translate business and functional requirements into comprehensive technical designs and scalable Salesforce architectures that address complex client needs and align with long-term business objectives.
Salesforce platform development: Design, evaluate, and guide the implementation of solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Technical specifications and data modeling: Develop and review technical documentation, solution specifications, data models, and architectural diagrams to support consistent implementation and effective knowledge transfer.
Integration architecture: Design and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange across enterprise systems.
Development standards and governance: Establish and promote Salesforce coding standards, architectural best practices, technical governance, and development guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
Security and compliance: Ensure solutions follow Salesforce security principles, access controls, sharing models, and applicable compliance requirements while protecting sensitive information and supporting appropriate data governance.
Platform assessment and optimization: Conduct technical assessments, identify architectural limitations and performance bottlenecks, and implement recommendations to improve platform efficiency, scalability, and stability.
Technical leadership and collaboration: Provide architectural guidance to developers and technical teams, review proposed solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and support sound implementation decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder communication: Collaborate with clients, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate architectural trade-offs, and explain complex technical concepts in an accessible and practical manner.
Innovation and continuous improvement: Stay informed about Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and industry developments, recommending platform enhancements and architectural improvements that deliver lasting business value.

Requirements

Professional experience: At least 7 years of Salesforce experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an architect-level or senior technical role.
Multi-cloud architecture: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds, particularly Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Salesforce development expertise: Strong technical knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
Integration technologies: Experience designing enterprise integration patterns and working with middleware and data integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell Boomi.
Architecture and solution design: Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performing technical solutions.
Security and compliance: Solid understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, permissions, access controls, and relevant compliance considerations.
Certifications: Salesforce System Architect and/or Application Architect certifications are required. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is a strong advantage.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to assess complex technical environments, identify root causes, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and develop practical solutions that support long-term platform stability.
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical decisions, document architecture, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and collaboration: Ability to provide technical direction, influence architectural decisions, support development teams, and contribute positively to a collaborative consulting environment.
Adaptability and continuous learning: Interest in keeping pace with Salesforce platform developments, emerging integration technologies, and evolving enterprise architecture practices.
Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is based.

Benefits

Competitive compensation: Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and technical expertise. A specific salary range was not provided.
Health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support employee health and well-being.
Generous paid time off: Time away from work to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Wellness programs: Resources and initiatives designed to support personal well-being and work-life flexibility.
Career development: Opportunities for continuous learning, professional growth, and advancement within a technology consulting environment.
Employee recognition: Programs that recognize contributions, achievements, and professional accomplishments.
Community involvement: Opportunities to participate in volunteer activities and community initiatives.
Collaborative culture: A supportive, people-first environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.
Technical impact: Opportunities to solve challenging architectural problems, work across Salesforce technologies, and help deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
Professional growth: Exposure to diverse projects, complex integrations, and evolving Salesforce capabilities that can strengthen your architectural expertise.
