This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Client Advisor based in Canada.
As the first local sales hire supporting the Canada expansion, you will take ownership of the territory starting with Calgary. You will build relationships with prospective clients through frequent in-person meetings and proactive business development. A key part of the role will be generating and developing your own leads while preparing prospects for visits from immigration attorneys every 2–3 months. You will initially work closely with the hiring manager on Canadian sales calls before progressively taking full ownership of your calls. This is a highly relationship-driven role suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, building trust, and developing opportunities in their local market. The position offers significant ownership and room to grow alongside the expansion of the Canadian territory.
\nAccountabilities:- Own the Canada territory, initially focusing on Calgary, and contribute to the growth of the local market.
- Meet prospective clients in person on a daily basis, building relationships and developing qualified opportunities.
- Generate, source, and develop your own leads, ensuring each lead source is accurately tagged in HubSpot when contacts are created.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects ahead of immigration attorney visits to Canada, which take place approximately every 2–3 months.
- Handle Canadian sales calls jointly with the hiring manager during the initial phase, then transition to independently running calls according to a structured 30/60/90-day plan.
- Travel to Toronto when required to support prospect and business development activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an immigration agent in Canada.
- Based in Calgary and comfortable conducting frequent in-person meetings with prospects.
- Personable, relationship-oriented, and confident engaging with prospective clients face-to-face.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and develop your own leads and business opportunities.
- Comfortable with sales conversations and progressively taking ownership of the full client development process.
- Willing and able to travel to Toronto when needed.
- First-hand experience navigating an immigration process is considered an asset.
- Existing connections within the South Asian community in Toronto are considered an asset.
Benefits
- Full-time opportunity with significant ownership of the Canada territory.
- Independent contractor engagement through Deel.
- Target total first-year compensation of $90,000–$150,000 USD, with room for growth.
- Incentive compensation based on a contribution-margin scale-up model.
- Higher gross-rate compensation for leads sourced independently compared with company-sourced leads.
- Opportunity to play a foundational role in the expansion of a sales operation in Canada.
- Target start date: November 2, 2026.
