This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Ops and Services Programmer based in Canada.
We are looking for an experienced data professional to help build and maintain scalable, reliable, and future-ready data infrastructure within a collaborative video game development environment. In this senior role, you will optimize database systems, design robust data pipelines, and ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of critical data. You will work with self-hosted database environments and large-scale data warehousing solutions to support evolving business and technical needs. Partnering with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams, you will translate complex data requirements into efficient and sustainable solutions. You will also contribute to database architecture decisions, drive infrastructure improvements, and champion best practices in data management. Beyond hands-on engineering, you will lead projects, coordinate teams, and mentor colleagues to strengthen technical capabilities and collaboration.
