Original job description
The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing will shape and execute strategic marketing initiatives that support business growth, generate qualified demand, and strengthen the sales pipeline. As a strategic individual contributor, you will oversee integrated marketing strategies for a portfolio of priority growth opportunities, translating commercial objectives into targeted audience plans, compelling messaging, and actionable campaigns. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing, and other marketing specialists to align priorities and coordinate campaign delivery. Using customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance data, you will recommend investments that maximize marketing impact. You will also apply AI tools to research, messaging development, and analysis while ensuring accuracy and quality. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced B2B marketing professional who combines strategic thinking, commercial judgment, and cross-functional leadership in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop integrated marketing strategies for approved growth opportunities, defining target audiences, customer needs, relevant solutions, engagement approaches, and measurable success criteria.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing, and business leaders to assess market opportunities, identify commercial priorities, and align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Recommend campaign priorities, investment levels, and resource allocation to marketing leadership, using available capacity and performance insights to guide decisions.
- Translate business objectives, customer insights, market intelligence, competitive context, and proven use cases into compelling campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and marketing narratives.
- Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to develop clear, relevant positioning and messaging, including in situations where product positioning is still evolving.
- Coordinate cross-functional campaign planning and execution through shared marketing resources, including campaign management, content and creative, marketing operations, paid media, events, and Product Marketing.
- Establish clear campaign scopes, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure coordinated execution across teams.
- Develop marketing budget recommendations, monitor program spending, and communicate trade-offs when resource demands exceed available budgets or capacity.
- Evaluate campaign and channel performance in collaboration with relevant partners, using data and commercial indicators to recommend which initiatives to optimize, expand, or discontinue.
- Apply AI tools to marketing research, content and messaging development, and analytical workflows, critically assessing outputs for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
- Track program effectiveness against demand-generation and pipeline objectives, ensuring marketing investments support measurable business outcomes.
- Provide strategic recommendations that help leadership direct resources toward the strongest growth opportunities and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 7 or more years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including ownership of integrated marketing strategies and programs aligned with commercial objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate broad business opportunities, evolving priorities, and incomplete information into focused audience strategies, credible messaging, and actionable campaign briefs.
- Strong experience developing integrated marketing programs that generate qualified demand, engage prospective customers, and contribute to pipeline growth.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, coordinate shared resources, and influence senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including the ability to interpret CRM data and marketing performance metrics to inform campaign strategy and investment decisions.
- Experience planning, recommending, and tracking marketing budgets, with the ability to assess resource constraints and make informed trade-offs.
- Practical experience using AI tools in marketing workflows, with the judgment to evaluate the reliability, accuracy, and relevance of AI-generated outputs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop persuasive marketing narratives, present recommendations, and align diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate work across a matrixed organization.
- Preferred: Experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, or Pardot.
- Preferred: Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
- Preferred: Experience leading integrated marketing programs through shared teams and resources in a matrixed business environment.
- Candidates must be physically located in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
- Annual salary range: CAD $105,000–$134,700.
- Flexible working environment.
- Volunteer time off.
- Access to LinkedIn Learning for professional development and continued learning.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources.
- Opportunity to contribute to strategic B2B marketing initiatives that connect customer intelligence, commercial strategy, and measurable business growth.
- Cross-functional collaboration with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
