Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager – LPO & Analytics based in Canada.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead two strategically important product portfolios: Location Performance Optimization (LPO) and Analytics, with a primary focus on building best-in-class analytics experiences. You will translate complex data capabilities into intuitive reporting and insights that help multi-location brands make better business decisions. Alongside this, you will shape conversion-focused products that connect local search visibility with measurable business outcomes. Working with engineering, data, design, and commercial teams, you will define product strategy and drive execution across multiple squads. This is a high-visibility, autonomous role requiring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and exceptional product judgment. You will have the opportunity to influence platform strategy, introduce meaningful AI-powered capabilities, and deliver measurable value in a globally distributed B2B SaaS environment.

Accountabilities

End-to-End Product Ownership: Lead the complete product lifecycle across the Analytics and Location Performance Optimization (LPO) portfolios, from discovery and product vision to development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product strategy that balances long-term platform development, customer needs, market opportunities, and short-term commercial priorities.
Analytics Product Development: Drive the evolution of the platform's analytics and reporting capabilities, creating intuitive dashboards, data visualizations, and actionable insights that help customers understand and improve business performance.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and data teams on event tracking, instrumentation, data models, APIs, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure to ensure reliable and scalable product capabilities.
LPO Portfolio Management: Guide the development of conversion-focused and SEO-driven solutions that help multi-location brands transform local search visibility into measurable foot traffic, leads, and revenue.
Customer Discovery: Conduct ongoing research with customers and internal stakeholders through interviews, usability testing, quantitative analysis, and market research to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
Agile Delivery and Prioritization: Manage product backlogs and priorities across two squads, translating complex business and technical requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development plans.
Performance Measurement: Define and monitor key SaaS performance indicators, including product adoption, retention, net revenue retention (NRR), and conversion impact, using data to guide decisions and communicate progress to leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and customer success teams across multiple regions to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
AI Integration: Leverage AI tools to improve daily productivity and identify opportunities to integrate AI-powered capabilities into the Analytics and LPO product portfolios where they deliver meaningful customer value.
Strategic Communication: Present product recommendations, prioritization decisions, and performance insights to executive stakeholders through concise, compelling, data-driven communication.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product repositioning, platform modernization, and process improvements while promoting effective product practices across the organization.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record in analytics, business intelligence (BI), data-heavy products, or reporting platforms. This is the primary requirement.
Demonstrated experience delivering analytics products, including reporting interfaces, dashboards, data visualization tools, and customer-facing insights.
Strong technical understanding of product analytics infrastructure, including event tracking, instrumentation, data flows, data models, APIs, and pipelines.
Hands-on familiarity with analytics platforms and tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent solutions.
Ability to engage confidently in technical discussions with engineering and data teams and translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
Strong strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to connect product decisions to revenue growth, customer retention, conversion, and business performance.
Experience managing multiple product portfolios, working across several squads, or independently coordinating complex product initiatives in parallel.
Excellent prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to balance speed and rigor and apply pragmatic decision-making approaches.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to executive stakeholders.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to defend product decisions through structured reasoning and evidence.
Ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives that support decision-making among technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated experience working effectively in remote-first, globally distributed teams, including asynchronous collaboration across multiple time zones.
Active use of AI-powered tools in daily workflows and a thoughtful understanding of how AI can create value within B2B SaaS products.
Previous experience in B2B SaaS environments is preferred, with exposure to marketing technology (MarTech) considered an advantage.

Nice To Have

Experience with conversion rate optimization, SEO, or local search technologies.
Familiarity with location-based marketing and local SEO solutions.
Background as a Technical Product Manager or Data Product Manager.
SQL proficiency or practical experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau.
Experience leading product portfolios through strategic repositioning, modernization, or large-scale replatforming initiatives.
Experience working with multi-location brands or enterprise marketing platforms.
Strong executive presentation and stakeholder management skills, particularly when communicating complex product and data concepts.

Key Personal Attributes

Sharp, curious, pragmatic, and comfortable challenging assumptions.
Low-ego approach with a strong willingness to collaborate and incorporate feedback.
High degree of independence, accountability, and ownership.
Ability to manage competing priorities and switch between product areas without losing focus.
Confidence in defending strategic and technical decisions under scrutiny.
Strong storytelling skills, particularly when using data to influence business decisions.

Benefits

Compensation paid in USD.
Flexible working schedule, supporting work-life balance and personal autonomy.
Non-Working Pay Days Policy.
Dedicated learning and professional development budget.
Opportunity to contribute to meaningful innovation and help shape the future of the marketing technology industry.
High-ownership position with significant influence over two strategic product portfolios.
Opportunity to collaborate with globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
Inclusive and supportive working environment that values technical capabilities, professional experience, collaboration, and growth potential.
Skills-focused culture that welcomes both traditionally trained and self-taught professionals.
