Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UX/UI Designer based in Canada.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences across multiple business lines. In this role, you will design responsive websites, landing pages, and digital products that balance user needs with business objectives. You will work with design systems, reusable components, and modern prototyping tools to create consistent and scalable interfaces. Collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams, you will translate concepts into polished designs and clear implementation specifications. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level digital experiences while adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your work will help strengthen usability, visual consistency, and the overall quality of digital touchpoints.

Accountabilities

As a UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design of user-centered digital experiences, from early concepts and prototypes through to developer handoff. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that interfaces are functional, accessible, visually consistent, and aligned with business goals.

  • Design responsive websites, landing pages, and digital products across multiple business lines and user touchpoints.
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and production-ready design specifications.
  • Build, maintain, and apply design systems, component libraries, and reusable interface patterns.
  • Use Figma to create designs, prototypes, and component-based solutions while supporting efficient developer handoff.
  • Apply principles of responsive design, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Conduct research and image library searches to identify suitable visual assets, performing basic photo retouching and color correction when needed.
  • Collaborate with developers, content specialists, digital marketers, and platform teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
  • Adapt designs to enterprise, multi-brand, or multi-site environments and support component-based content management systems where required.
  • Manage competing priorities, respond to changing project requirements, and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong UX/UI design expertise with excellent visual communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. You should be comfortable working independently, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering high-quality design solutions in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated experience designing responsive websites, landing pages, or digital products.
  • A portfolio showcasing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and completed digital experiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
  • Experience working with design systems, reusable interface components, and established design patterns.
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
  • Experience preparing detailed design specifications and assets for developer implementation.
  • Ability to create effective design solutions across different touchpoints and multiple business lines.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • An agile mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise, multi-brand, or multi-site digital environments.
  • Experience designing component-based websites for enterprise content management systems.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, content teams, digital marketers, and platform teams.
