Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Java backend features under the guidance of experienced engineers
- Build API endpoints, validate inputs, and integrate application code with relational databases
- Write unit and integration tests and investigate defects using logs and debugging tools
- Participate in code reviews and document technical decisions and service behavior
Qualification
Required
- Foundational Java and object-oriented programming skills demonstrated through academic, personal, or internship projects
- Understanding of data structures, HTTP APIs, and basic SQL
- Familiarity with Git and a willingness to learn testing and maintainable service design
Preferred
- Exposure to Spring Boot, Maven, or Gradle
- Experience with automated tests, containers, or continuous integration
