Be passionate about food and cooking.
Be skilled in animation and teaching.
Comfortable with teenagers (12–17 years old).
Be empathetic, flexible, and able to adapt to the diverse realities of vulnerable youth.
Be autonomous, organized and responsible.
Have completed a DEP in cooking, a training in nutrition or equivalent, an asset.
Experience in facilitation or education, an asset.

Services to Be Provided

The Consultant Chef Trainer Will

Deliver one culinary workshop of 2 - 2.5 hours per week as part of the mandate.
Teach participants basic cooking techniques and guide them through recipe preparation.
Deliver each workshop using the educational materials provided by La Tablée des Chefs and ensure preparation with the workshop content beforehand.
Purchase the ingredients required for workshop recipes (budget allocated).
Collaborate with the participating establishment to coordinate culinary challenges (Kitchen Brigades)
Provide the administrative documentation required for the mandate (e.g., invoices, evaluation questionnaires).

Important Information To Know

The programs are turnkey; no recipe or educational content development is required.
Professional fees are $125 per workshop.
Tools and materials are made available to support and guide you throughout the mandate, to be consulted as needed.
The mandate is estimated to require approximately 4–5 hours per week
The Consultant Chef Trainer is expected to remain available for the duration of the agreed-upon mandate and deliver all scheduled services (workshops). For Kitchen Brigades, mandate duration is 24 weeks and workshops are generally delivered after school hours.
