Main Responsibilities
- Negotiate prices, delivery times, and terms with suppliers.
- Select and evaluate new suppliers.
- Place and track purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate needs.
- Manage disputes and returns with suppliers.
- Ensure product compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- Experience in purchasing
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Experience in the distribution of industrial or other supplies (an asset)
- Proficient in computer tools and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset and results-oriented.

Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms with suppliers; select and evaluate suppliers; and place and track purchase orders. Monitor inventory and anticipate needs, resolve supplier disputes and returns, and ensure products meet technical and quality requirements.
Requirements
The role seeks purchasing experience, strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills, and proficiency with computer tools and ERP systems. Candidates should be organized, able to manage multiple priorities, analytical, and results-oriented; experience distributing industrial or other supplies is an asset.
