Responsibilities
Interpret welding specifications and blueprints, operate manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding equipment, and inspect welds for compliance with standards. Fit, braze, cut, and straighten metal, operate lifting equipment and brazing or soldering machines, and perform custom fabrication and factory assembly.
Requirements
Requires an other trades certificate or diploma and 3 to less than 5 years of experience. Candidates should be able to work in confined, dusty, hot, noisy, and dirty industrial environments and handle physically demanding, repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
