Job Description:

Implementation Specialist

Jonas Software – Club Division

POSITION

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent, customer focused with the ability to set priorities. The candidate will also be a strong communicator, one who listens, and has patience and composure when dealing with clients and collaboration with colleagues in all areas of our business including software development, professional services, customer support, and sales to help ensure our Client’s needs are being fulfilled.

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead clients through all stages of the implementation lifecycle: kickoff, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, launch, and handoff to Support
Facilitate and direct all client meetings related to the implementation
Set and manage client expectations around tasks, sign-off stages, and milestone schedules
Coordinate the involvement of cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, and Product/Development) as needed to meet project objectives
Establish and drive project timelines and deliverable schedules, holding both the client and internal team accountable
Record, track, and manage projects using our project management software
Prepare and distribute timely project status reports to internal and external stakeholders
Configure the reservation system(s) to reflect each club's specific policies, scheduling rules, and operational needs
Perform quality assurance review and testing prior to launch to confirm accuracy and functionality

Enhancement Request Management

Own the intake, tracking, and reporting of enhancement requests from clients in implementation and the internal Professional Services team
Coordinate with Product/Development on plans and timelines for submitted requests, documenting progress for accountability and transparency
Maintain a clear feedback loop: proactively update clients and internal teams on request status, planned releases, and relevant release notes

Internal Enablement & Cross-Team Support

Serve as a go-to internal expert on the reservation modules, bridging knowledge gaps between Support and Professional Services
Lead internal knowledge-share sessions and contribute how-to documentation as needed

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in project coordination, implementation, software training, or a similar client-facing technical role
Independent self-starter; able and eager to dig into a software application and become technically proficient in its full functionality
Establishes and maintains two-way communication to give clear direction and set well-planned, organized objectives
Strong organizational skills: uses resources effectively and arranges information in a useful manner
Strong planning and scoping skills; able to measure performance and evaluate results
Strong priority setting in order to eliminate roadblocks and create focus
Capable of creating processes that drive resource efficiency and managing through systems
Able to write and speak clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings
Proven attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
Comfortable in a customer-facing role, with a professional and courteous disposition
Demonstrated experience working effectively in a highly collaborative team setting
Demonstrated experience in creative problem-solving and client relationship management
Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office applications
