Provide conceptual engineering for manufacturers’ fenestration products.
Coordinate structural glazing engineering services with thermal modeling concepts.
Perform field reviews to verify engineering expectations.
Perform on-site evaluations of existing fenestration systems on buildings to determine their current structural integrity and attachment.
Apply North American codes and standards on glazing to guide designers and manufacturers on minimum expectations.

Project Management

Maintain full knowledge of the scope of work and scope of services for projects including any changes which may occur throughout the course of the project; ensure services are compliant with scope and JRS company standards and procedures.
Maintain full knowledge of status of project budgets on a constant and ongoing basis.
Review monthly project billing to analyze billed services and ensure accounts are up-to-date.
Proactively manage all staff working on your projects to ensure profitability and quality consistent with company expectations.

Business Development

Develop JRS’ brand in the fenestration industry through speaking at conferences, leading seminars, giving presentations, and obtaining coverage within industry channels.
Lead external training and workshops on fenestration structural glazing engineering.
Proactively seek opportunities to establish relationships with new clients and maintain existing relationships.
Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve repeat business.
Lead proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and multiple portfolio/property requests; oversee the budget and schedule component of proposals.
Prepare marketing material and facilitate business and client development opportunities.

Staff Leadership

Assist with recruiting and hiring new staff for the Fenestration Division.

Here’s what you bring to JRS:
