With over 20 years of greenhouse heating experience, the company delivers customized systems that integrate heating, cooling, climate control and insulation. Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingsville, ON, responsible for overseeing the service operations. The person in this role manages service operations, including scheduling and coordinating service calls, supervising field technicians and subcontractors, and ensuring that maintenance and repairs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The Service Manager communicates directly with customers, assesses their needs, provides technical guidance, and follows up to ensure satisfaction and long-term reliability of installed systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring service workflows, maintaining accurate service documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of service procedures. The role also involves collaborating with project management and engineering teams to resolve complex issues, implement system upgrades, and contribute to best practices for sustainable and efficient greenhouse energy solutions.

Qualifications

Service operations and supervision skills, including team leadership, scheduling, and workload prioritization.
Technical aptitude in mechanical or HVAC systems, heating and cooling equipment, and basic electrical understanding.
Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, explain technical information clearly, and handle issues professionally.
Organizational and administrative skills, including documentation, use of service management software, and inventory tracking.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system performance issues and coordinating effective resolutions.
Experience in greenhouse, industrial, construction, or energy systems environments is an asset.
Ability to work on-site, including occasional field visits to greenhouse projects, and to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites as required.
Commitment to sustainability, continuous improvement, and high-quality workmanship.
