Responsibilities

Tasks

Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers and blow-drying machines
Operate dryers and blow-drying machines
Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and chemicals
Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets and other articles
Assemble and bag finished articles
Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles
Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles

Operate industrial washing, drying, and dry-cleaning machinery while mixing appropriate chemical solutions. Responsible for folding, bagging, and quality-checking finished articles to ensure establishment standards are met.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and between 1 to 2 years of experience in laundry operations. Candidates must be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
