Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure FinOps SME to drive cloud financial management, cost optimization, governance, and forecasting across Azure environments. The ideal candidate will partner with business, finance, and technology teams to maximize cloud value while ensuring cost transparency, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud spending through cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Drive FinOps practices including cost allocation, chargeback/showback, Reservations, and Savings Plans optimization.
• Develop dashboards and executive reports using Power BI, Excel, and FinOps tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and leadership teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cloud efficiency.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance, financial controls, and optimization frameworks.
• Automate FinOps processes and support AI-enabled cost management initiatives.
• Present cloud financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Azure FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Optimization.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cost Management, Reservations, Savings Plans, Budgeting, and Cost Allocation.
• Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, Apptio, automation, and reporting tools.
• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing FinOps governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud automation and AI-driven FinOps solutions.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner and/or Azure certifications preferred.
