Role : Java Developer (Virtual Drive)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite)

Experience: 6 – 10 years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in enterprise application development, microservices architecture, API development, and distributed systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.

Develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

Work closely with business users, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.

Develop high-performance, secure, and resilient applications following best practices.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and production support.

Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.

Implement CI/CD processes and support DevOps practices.

Maintain technical documentation and support application lifecycle management.

Required Technical Skills

6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).

Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.

Experience with REST API development and integration.

Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.

Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles and Design Patterns.

Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
