Position: Mainframe QA E2E Test Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe QA E2E Test Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance across enterprise applications and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead test strategy, planning, execution, automation support, and stakeholder coordination to ensure high-quality releases in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute E2E test strategies, test plans, and validation frameworks.
- Lead Functional, Integration, Regression, SIT, UAT, API, and End-to-End testing activities.
- Validate data in Mainframe tables, schemas, and stored procedures.
- Perform UI functional, smoke, and regression testing.
- Create and maintain testing artifacts including Test Cases, Test Strategy, and Test Summary Reports.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing across multiple applications and teams.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, risk assessment, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure release readiness.
- Support and execute automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or Rest Assured.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Mainframe Testing and Stored Procedure Testing.
- Hands-on experience with E2E, Functional, Integration, Regression, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of API testing and automation frameworks.
- Ability to execute and maintain automation scripts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and Rest Assured.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and cloud transformation programs.
