Position: .NET & SharePoint Integration Engineer
Location: Hybrid- Montreal, QC
Job type: Full-time/Permanent hiring
As a .NET & SharePoint Integration Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance enterprise applications. This role sits at the intersection of modern .NET 8+ microservices, React frontends, and deeply integrated Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online ecosystems. You will focus heavily on building automated background services, secure API integrations via Microsoft Graph, and enforcing clean architectural patterns across cloud-native environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Build, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud applications using .NET Core and .NET 8+ utilizing modern Web APIs and RESTful architectures.
- M365 & SharePoint Integration: Architect seamless integrations with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph APIs utilizing secure Azure AD / Entra ID authentication protocols.
- Frontend Engineering: Develop responsive, modular user interfaces using React that interface cleanly with complex backend API structures.
- Automation & Background Processing: Engineer robust scheduled jobs, message consumers, background tasks, and enterprise automation pipelines.
- Architectural Excellence: Enforce Clean Architecture principles, dependency injection frameworks, structured logging, proactive error handling, and performance tuning.
- Security & Compliance: Partner closely with corporate security and compliance business units to deliver highly audited, zero-trust, and reliable application ecosystems.
Required Technical Competencies
- Frameworks: Production experience with .NET Core and .NET 8+.
- APIs: Advanced proficiency in building and consuming Web APIs / REST services.
- Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem: Hands-on integration experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 API, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Authentication: Strong knowledge of Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) app registrations, OAuth 2.0 flows, scopes, and secure service-to-service permissions.
- UI Development: Practical frontend skills using React (Hooks, state management, API integration).
Architecture: Firm grounding in Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture, Dependency Injection (DI), and enterprise design patterns
