Position: Senior Angular Developer – TypeScript

Location: Hybrid- Montreal, QC

Job type: Full-Time/Permanent Hiring

We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to build scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The role focuses on Angular, TypeScript, modern UI development, REST API integration, state management, and reusable front-end architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Build reusable, modular, and scalable UI components using Angular and Angular Material.
Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Implement RxJS and NgRx/state management for responsive and maintainable applications.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend developers on end-to-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews, follow front-end coding standards, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
Implement unit testing and support CI/CD deployment processes.
Work within Agile/Scrum development teams.

Required Skills

5+ years of front-end development experience with 3+ years of Angular.
Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
Experience with RxJS, NgRx/state management, and Angular Material.
Strong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of microservices and API-driven architecture.
Experience with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or similar testing frameworks.
Financial services or capital markets experience.
Exposure to React or Node.js.
Knowledge of web application security best practices.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
