Role – SRE/DevOps Engineer (Digital Certificate Management)
Location-Toronto, ON
Duration- Full Time/Permanent Hiring
Total Experience: 6-8 years
Role Description:
- Expert-level (7+ years) hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections, with proven ability to integrate and orchestrate across multiple platforms
- Expert-level (5+ years) experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs, with proven ability to leverage API calls within Ansible to automate and orchestrate workflows across multiple platforms
- Strong proficiency in Linux, with solid scripting skills in Python and/or Shell
- Demonstrated experience managing and integrating digital certificates during development cycle, including issuance, deployment, renewal, secure key handling, and troubleshooting TLS/mTLS certificate issues.
- Demonstrated experience using ServiceNow for change management in a regulated enterprise environment (e.g., banking or financial services)
- Working knowledge of DevOps toolchains, including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Java microservices Spring frameworkExpert-level
- Nice to have: Experience with HashiCorp Vault/Terraform

Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections, integrating RESTful APIs to automate and orchestrate workflows across platforms. Manage digital certificates throughout the development lifecycle, support secure key handling and TLS/mTLS troubleshooting, and use ServiceNow for change management in a regulated enterprise environment.
Requirements
Requires 6–8 years of total experience, including expert-level Ansible experience and substantial experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs. Candidates should be proficient in Linux and Python and/or Shell, have experience with digital certificates and ServiceNow in a regulated enterprise, and be familiar with DevOps tools and Java Spring microservices; Vault and Terraform are nice to have.
