Position: TeamSite/OpenText CMS Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 8 + Years
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced TeamSite / OpenText CMS Developer to own and support our current CMS platform while helping drive our long-term digital content modernization strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support solutions on the OpenText TeamSite CMS platform.
- Manage CMS integrations, content publishing workflows, templates, and custom development.
- Lead technical assessment, architecture planning, and migration initiatives for next-generation CMS platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to define future-state content management capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship through platform modernization and transformation efforts
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText TeamSite/LiveSite CMS.
- Solid background in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, web services, and CMS integrations.
- Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content publishing workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, architecture, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred / Future-State Skills:
- Experience with Headless/Composable CMS platforms such as Contentful, Content stack, or Storyblok.
- Knowledge of React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API-first architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and CMS migration projects.
- Experience evaluating and implementing modern CMS solutions, including Adobe AEM, WordPress VIP, or similar platforms.
