Develop, prepare, and maintain key strategic corporate items, including corporate presentations, investor materials, transaction analyses, financial models, and valuation analyses
Conduct comprehensive company, industry, market, and transaction research to support current engagements and portfolio company business development initiatives
Coordinate transaction due diligence and manage information flow among portfolio companies, legal counsel, accountants, investors, and other advisors
Assist with transaction structuring, valuation, financing considerations, and the evaluation of strategic alternatives
Support Vice President, Managing Director, and portfolio company management teams in investor discussions, transaction negotiations, and new business development activities
Monitor relevant capital markets activity, industry developments, public company performance, and precedent transactions
Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail across financial analyses, presentations, and transaction materials

A successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering, or another relevant discipline
Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in investing, corporate finance, and capital markets
Excellent financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and quantitative capabilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

High degree of attention to detail, professionalism, judgment, and accountability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibility

This position is an in-office role and based in Toronto, Ontario.
