Fenergo is an Irish provider of award-winning software solutions for global financial institutions. Fenergo digitally transforms the client experience throughout the client lifecycle, manages compliance with KYC, AML and other regulatory compliance obligations and reduces risk with continuous monitoring of clients and transactions throughout the client lifecycle. Kaha Consulting is the US Consulting arm of Kaha, founded in South Africa. We are looking for new team members to help grow the US and North American presence of our company. Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end client project delivery. This entails development of client proposals and contracts and control of the delivery lifecycle of projects. Using the FenX Platform, we help clients rapidly achieve their business outcomes. Making onboarding of clients faster and reducing huge amounts of manual work.

The Platform

Fenergo v10 (aka FenX) is a cloud-native SaaS platform built on AWS that is used to help banks and financial institutions go about their business in an efficient and safe way. It is a serverless, highly scalable web platform providing features and full configuration & administration capabilities. All features are delivered through a layer of highly available APIs offering full feature capabilities to any authorized consumer.

End-to-End Project Ownership & Delivery Lifecycle Control

Manage software implementation projects from initiation to customer handover and closure.
Control the delivery lifecycle end-to-end, ensuring a structured and efficient approach using the provided Methodologies.
Adhere to and control the change management process as per the project requirements.
Oversee large-scale integrations and migrations during implementations.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the project and client teams.
Provide guidance and support to project team members regarding project delivery.
Hold clients and teams accountable to commitments, ensuring delivery progress.
Facilitate continuous improvement through implementing and optimizing delivery processes, artifacts, and governance standards.

Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management

Focus on client outcomes, actively shaping engagement towards common success.
Align and manage senior stakeholders internally and externally.
Manage expectations and facilitate conflict resolution while maintaining a client-centric approach.
Ensure strategic decisions align with both the client’s and the company’s best interests.
Facilitate negotiations with clients regarding scope and change management.

Financial and Resource Management

Create and track Statements of Work (SoW).
Forecast delivery and revenue to align with business goals
Handle financial responsibilities, including budgeting, margin management, and resource allocation.
Support the sales process by assisting in estimating implementation approach, costs, and value.
Involvement in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contracting.

Risk, Issue, Scope & Change Management

Identify and manage risks and issues, including escalations and mitigations.
Ensure proper scope management and control to prevent scope creep.
Adhere to project governance, including status reporting, action tracking, and delivery progress monitoring.

Project Planning & Execution

Lead continuous project planning, including sprint planning, testing, and iterative delivery.
Oversee functional design and design decisions to align with project goals.
Support training and knowledge transfer within the delivery practice.

Governance and Reporting

Provide governance reporting at all levels.
Ensure compliance with project tracking and reporting standards.
Manage the documentation review and approval process with clients.
Support audit and compliance activities related to project delivery.

Product Knowledge and Continuous Improvement

Develop and maintain deep working product knowledge of the FenX Platform, ensuring awareness of the full toolset and impact on existing configurations.
Elicit feedback for growth and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

Team Leadership and Coordination

Coordinate and lead teams to achieve common outcomes and goals.
Ensure alignment of resources and priorities for successful project execution.
Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.

Requirements

Project management experience, preferably with the implementation of ERP or similar platforms (we also value experience brought in from other industries and roles!).
Client-facing delivery exposure, including client proposals and contracts and budgeting.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of IT systems, architectures and terminology is beneficial.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Preferable experience

Bachelor's degree in business or technology discipline.
Knowledge and experience with Financial Services Processes, Financial Regulation, and Products, particularly relating to client and product-onboarding.
Working in an Agile Software Development environment.
Reporting Skills.
Experience working with ALM systems, e.g. Azure/JIRA/Trello
Experience working on configuration of comparable technology platforms (e.g., MS Dynamics)
