- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products

Responsibilities
Interpret welding specifications, blueprints, drawings, manuals, and processes; operate welding, flame-cutting, oxygen arc-cutting, metal-shaping, and lifting equipment. Fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and inspect welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience. The role is on-site in an outdoor environment, including work at heights, and requires physical capability, attention to detail, communication, flexibility, organization, and teamwork.
