Job Description

Position Title:	Operations Cleaner
Department:	Operations
Report to	Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager
Manage:	Nil

Portfolio Focus:

We are looking for a Casual/On Call Operations Cleaner.

Duties:

• Sweeping/Mopping
• Garbage collection and removal
• Cleaning the washrooms, lunchrooms
• Replenishing the supplies
• Dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing
• Floor maintenance
• Lab’s cleaning
• Sweep, vacuum, or blow litter, cigarette butts, and debris from sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter
• Other duties as required or assigned by the Manager and Lead Hand

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

• Other reasonable requests.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education:

• Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Ability to physically perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to attend work on a regular, on-going, consistent basis. 
• Ability to understand and implement all policies and procedures as they relate to the janitorial work to be performed.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to perform all cleaning tasks.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
