Who We Are

Kendrix Technologies is a Canadian-owned and operated systems integration company, proudly operating under Kandor Management Corp., alongside Guardteck Security and Everclean Facility Services. We design and deliver integrated building technology solutions that help protect, connect, and optimize the environments people live and work in.

We believe great systems start with great people. That’s why we invest in our teams through hands-on experience, continuous learning, and meaningful opportunities to grow. When our people are supported and empowered, they deliver work that is precise, reliable, and built to last.

Our work is driven by a practical, problem-solving mindset. We focus on designing and delivering systems that meet real operational needs, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and long-term performance in complex environments.

We don’t just install systems, we build long-term partnerships. Every project is approached with accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things the right way for our clients and the people who rely on these systems every day.

Our strength is our people. Every role contributes to the quality and consistency we’re known for, and every team member plays a part in building something meaningful. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate, and build lasting careers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kendrix team and be part of the work that shapes smarter, more connected buildings across Canada.

About the Role

As Project Coordinator, you'll work alongside our Project Manager to keep projects moving from kickoff through closeout. You'll own the schedules and trackers, chase down outstanding information, coordinate between our internal teams and the clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors we work with, and make sure problems surface early enough to actually be solved. It's a strong fit for someone organized and persistent who wants to build a career in project delivery within the commercial security industry.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and follow up on assigned tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, trackers, and status updates
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Track project deliverables, approvals, outstanding information, and key milestones
  • Assist with procurement, purchase orders, invoices, materials, and vendor coordination as required
  • Prepare project status updates, reports, and other documentation to support the Project Manager and project team
  • Monitor project progress and flag potential delays, issues, changes, or missing information to the Project Manager
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support project closeout, including tracking outstanding items and ensuring required records are complete

What You Bring

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or a related role
  • Understanding of low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, and intercoms
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with project management software and construction documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive follow-through to keep projects moving
  • Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to project sites as required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in commercial security, construction, or a related industry
  • AutoCAD or Bluebeam experience
  • Post-secondary education in a technical, construction, or project management field

Growth

This role is built to develop. We support progression into:

  • Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP)
  • DHI education - Door Hardware Technician through to Electrical Hardware Consultant, covering code application, construction documents, and specification writing
