Responsibilities
Design, develop, service, test, and calibrate power equipment and electronic systems, including assisting with prototypes and applied research. Support installation and commissioning, safety training, operational data collection, and preparation of specifications, estimates, schedules, and reports.
Requirements
Requires a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting one to two years, plus two to less than three years of experience. Certification by a provincial or territorial association is listed, along with experience using electronic testing equipment and systems and working with industrial processes.
