  • Track schedule progress, analyze production data, monitor critical path activities, and communicate schedule impacts to project stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage changes to baseline schedules and provide timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the development, management, and auditing of Field Installation Work Packages (FIWPs) to support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution
  • Analyze project milestones, key deliverables, and financial deadlines while evaluating impacts to project schedules and performance
  • Collaborate with project, construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, sequencing, financial competency, and execution strategies
  • Support implementation and maintenance of project systems and procedures during project startup and closeout activities, including turnover documentation, warranty packages, and site demobilization
  • Coordinate with safety and project teams in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead quantity takeoffs and verify alignment with contract documents and project scope requirements
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members performing document control and recordkeeping functions
  • Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for project leadership and clients
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Scheduler, Planner, or Project Controls role within the construction industry
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, transit, civil, industrial, or commercial construction projects valued at $15 million or greater
  • Previous experience supporting Metrolinx transit infrastructure projects is highly regarded and strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of municipal standards, scheduling requirements, reporting processes, and stakeholder coordination practices is considered a significant asset
  • Previous experience developing and managing work packages and leading planning initiatives on construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling principles, project controls methodologies, and critical path analysis
  • Experience utilizing 3D visual planning tools and construction technology platforms
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and current construction practices
  • Strong understanding of construction administration processes, including subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdbacks, and project closeout
