Original job description

Fulltime Direct Support Professional

Pay rate: $25.18-29.46 Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and last-minute call-ins.

Application Deadline: October 4, 2026

Full G license, personal automobile insurance and clean driving abstract are required, as supports are required in the community.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Responsibilities

Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives within their homes and communities. They support clients in learning new skills and ensure they can live fully and independently.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a full G driver's license, personal automobile insurance, and a clean driving abstract. Post-secondary education in a related field such as Developmental Services or Child and Youth work is preferred.
