A prominent organization operating across a diverse portfolio of businesses is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team. This role is well suited to a finance professional who enjoys combining detailed financial analysis with business partnership, team leadership, and process improvement.
Reporting to a Senior Vice President, Finance, the FP&A Manager will oversee key planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management activities for a major area of the organization. The position combines hands-on financial analysis with leadership responsibilities and regular interaction with stakeholders across finance and the broader business. The successful candidate will help turn financial information into practical insights that support planning and decision-making.
What You'll Do
Lead recurring budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple business areas
Review financial results and investigate significant variances, trends, and underlying business drivers
Consolidate financial information and ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered within established timelines
Coordinate planning and reporting cycles with finance teams and operational stakeholders
Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and presentations for senior leadership
Provide insights into business performance, profitability, and emerging financial trends
Partner with business leaders to support financial planning, reporting, and issue resolution
Oversee the use and enhancement of financial planning and reporting processes and systems
Lead a small team of finance professionals while remaining actively involved in analysis and key deliverables
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes
Support broader finance initiatives and strategic projects as required
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline
CPA designation
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or a related finance function
Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing finance professionals
Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with presentation and reporting tools
Experience working with ERP, financial planning, consolidation, or reporting platforms
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance
Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate clear, practical recommendations
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
A proactive, collaborative approach and an interest in improving how finance teams operate
