We're looking for a Project Coordinator to support our growing team. The Project Coordinator is accountable for supporting all project deliverables and office functions, including HSE reporting, coordinating regulatory deliverables, and records management. This role also supports project planning and execution through estimating, cost control, scheduling, billing, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

What You'll Do

Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of dredging and dewatering, water, civil earthworks, environmental, pipeline, and demolition projects.
Conduct quantity takeoffs and support the preparation of project estimates, technical reports, and proposals.
Read and interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
Support project goals related to safety, cost, productivity, schedule, quality assurance, and quality control (QA/QC).
Coordinate project teams and provide technical and administrative guidance throughout project execution.
Monitor project costs, schedules, budgets, and forecasts, providing accurate information to the Senior Project Manager.
Coordinate subcontractors and assist with contractor selection and management as required.
Maintain accurate project administration and documentation, including job creation and updates within 4castplus and other software systems.
Support project billing by preparing and collecting progress billings and holdback receivables and ensuring timesheets, rates, hours, and descriptions are accurate.
Promote a strong safety culture by reviewing safety documentation, SOPs, and training materials while maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and employees.

Who You Are

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within environmental services, engineering, or construction.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
Collaborative team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams

What You Need

Previous experience in project coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Strong interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and organize large amounts of data/information.
Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment
Valid class 5 driver’s licence and ability to get to/from work
