Contract HR Analyst

Location: Onsite-Calgary, AB T2P 3G7

Contract Duration: October 5, 2026 to October 1, 2027

Pay Rate: $55.89–$68.19 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

Position Overview

The HR Services team is committed to delivering excellent client care while upholding the highest standards of integrity in HR operations. The team ensures that every touchpoint in the employee life cycle is managed with efficiency, expertise, and confidentiality.

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager, HR Services, the HR Analyst will contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of the HR function. This role will focus on managing and optimizing HR systems, as well as ensuring accurate, secure, and timely data management across the entire employee life cycle - from onboarding through offboarding.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a client-focused approach to support operational excellence and provide a seamless, trusted experience for employees, leaders, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide HR support to internal and external stakeholders, with primary support provided to employees and leaders.
Administer HR processes, including onboarding, position management, promotions, terminations, and leave administration, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Partner with HR teams to troubleshoot, configure, and enhance HR system functionality.
Draft and review offer letters and partner with the Talent team to verify the accuracy of offer letter information.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to manage and maintain HR systems, including platforms such as Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow.
Ensure HR data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and security across the employee life cycle.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, internal security policies, and established best practices.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to sensitive HR data.
Perform regular audits and data clean-up activities to maintain complete and accurate HR records.
Provide system training and support to HR team members and other stakeholders to improve system utilization and understanding.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
Support the system execution of annual HR programs, including compensation cycles and new graduate and student programs.
Maintain current knowledge of organizational and HR policies and procedures.
Lead or actively participate in projects focused on developing, reviewing, and improving HR processes within HR Employee Services.
Support the development and maintenance of internal- and external-facing HR knowledge articles within ServiceNow.
Respond to general employee and leader inquiries and complete system entries in accordance with organizational policies, values, and practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of direct experience working with HR systems or in a similar HR analyst role.
Strong experience with HRIS platforms, such as Workday, SAP, and/or ServiceNow.
Proficiency in HR data management, data integrity, and data security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver client-focused service.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to contribute to decisions and recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT, Talent, and other cross-functional teams
