Our client, a leading multinational manufacturer in the aerospace sector, is looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst. As a member of our growing team, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening client relationships and overseeing the seamless movement of products and information.

Please note that this position requires 5 days of work on site in Longueuil, QC.

1.0 Purpose

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for establishing, maintaining, analyzing, and optimizing the pricing of spare parts for a major aircraft engine manufacturer. This role ensures data integrity, cost accuracy, and adherence to company processes and compliance standards.

2.0 Scope

This full-time position supports the pricing strategy, cost validation, data management, reporting, and continuous improvement activities for spare parts, engine components, military-specific products, and engineering changes.

3.0 Responsibilities

The Pricing Analyst’s key responsibilities include:

Establishing, maintaining, and updating pricing for engine parts, spare parts, military-specific components, and Service Bulletin/Engineering Change (SB/EC) items
Validating Fixed Standard Costs (FSC) and ensuring pricing margins comply with established guidelines
Performing detailed cost and Bill of Material (BOM) validations to maintain pricing accuracy
Reviewing purchased parts to confirm valid purchase orders for cost justification
Validating manufactured parts through cost element analysis and identifying discrepancies
Reviewing assembly and kit structures to ensure complete BOM accountability
Analyzing parts with cost increases, identifying contributing factors, and recommending pricing strategies
Maintaining the Spare Parts Application Data List (SPADL), including part introductions, supersessions, engineering changes, metadata, and supporting documentation
Managing standard pricing discounts, exception requests, and discount matrices pursuant to company guidelines
Supporting audit requirements and ensuring compliance with Pratt & Whitney pricing processes
Developing, updating, and documenting pricing procedures and process improvements
Using Enovia and other engineering platforms to review drawings, engineering changes, and technical documentation
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for pricing validation and cost assessments
Identifying comparable components for benchmark pricing analysis
Maintaining pricing data integrity within SAP/R3 and properly setting up and maintaining Material Master Sales View records
Preparing pricing analyses and recommendations for annual price list revisions
Developing comprehensive reports and presentations for management review
Publishing and maintaining official commercial and military spare parts price lists
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customer Support
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives focused on pricing processes and operational efficiency
Performing additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership

4.0 Qualifications

Fully bilingual in French and English
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Proficient with SAP/R3, especially in Material Master and pricing modules
Experience using engineering and PLM systems such as Enovia
Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, ECs, and BOMs
Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, margin analysis, and pricing validation
Knowledge of manufacturing, aerospace, spare parts, defense, or supply chain environments – an asset
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting
Strong communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline

2. Champ d’application

Ce poste couvre l’ensemble des activités d’analyse, de gestion et de maintien de la tarification des pièces de rechange pour moteurs commerciaux et militaires. Le titulaire garantit la validation des coûts, l’exactitude des données techniques, la gestion des systèmes d’information et formule des recommandations stratégiques en matière de prix.

3. Responsabilités principales

Établir, mettre à jour et maintenir les prix des pièces vendables pour l’ensemble des moteurs, incluant les pièces militaires et les changements d’ingénierie.
Valider l’exactitude des coûts standards fixes (FSC) et assurer l’application des marges selon les directives.
Vérifier la validité des coûts et nomenclatures de pièces (BOM) pour garantir l’exactitude des tarifications.
Contrôler l’existence de bons de commande pour les pièces achetées.
Analyser les écarts de coûts pour les pièces manufacturées et recommander des ajustements.
Examiner les nomenclatures d’assemblages pour une comptabilisation exhaustive et juste des composantes.
Suivre et analyser les variations de coûts et leurs facteurs d’influence sur la tarification.
Gérer le répertoire des données de pièces de rechange (SPADL) et tenir à jour les introductions, substitutions et modifications.
Administrer la matrice de rabais, les remises standard et les demandes d’exception.
Garantir la conformité aux exigences d’audit et aux processus de prix.
Documenter, mettre à jour et améliorer les procédures de tarification existantes.
Utiliser Enovia pour interpréter dessins et changements techniques; maintenir l’intégrité des données dans SAP/R3.
