Recruiter

Location: Hybrid - 1–2 days onsite Downtown, Toronto, Ontario

Contract: November 9, 2026 – November 8, 2027

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

$40-$46/hr + 4% vacation pay

This is for a current position.

Our recruitment process for this role includes the use of AI-based tools to help evaluate candidate qualifications and screen applications.

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter V to join a collaborative recruiting team supporting high-volume retail hiring for a leading Canadian financial institution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate recruitment professional who enjoys partnering with hiring managers, building talent pipelines, and helping shape people’s careers in a supportive, enterprise environment.

What you’ll do

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake through offer and onboarding
Open requisitions and coordinate recruitment activities
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide talent-market insights
Source, assess, and interview candidates
Coordinate hiring events and recruitment initiatives
Schedule interviews, including final-round interviews with managers
Conduct background checks and prepare offers
Develop and maintain candidate pipelines
Support recruitment projects and process-improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate recruitment metrics, reports, and tracking
Monitor and resolve escalated recruitment issues
Ensure recruitment activities follow organizational policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
Promote the organization’s employer brand through recruitment activities and candidate engagement

What we’re looking for

5–7 years of recruitment experience
Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment
Full-cycle recruitment expertise
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Reporting and recruitment-tracking experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment
Agency recruitment experience is an asset
Banking or retail recruitment experience is preferred
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent training
Strong attention to detail
A resourceful, collaborative approach and willingness to ask questions
