📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)

💲 Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr on T4 + 4% Vacation Pay

📅 Contract: November 2026 – March 2027

⏳ Extension/Conversion: Possible based on performance and business needs

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to support executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic content management within a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned communications professional who excels at transforming complex technical and business information into clear, compelling, executive-ready content.

You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop reporting materials, presentations, communications plans, and governance documentation that support business objectives and executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop executive-level presentations, briefing notes, scorecards, dashboards, and leadership updates
Create and maintain communications plans and stakeholder engagement materials
Partner with business, technology, risk, and operational teams to gather and synthesize information
Translate complex technical and program information into clear business-focused messaging
Support governance activities through reporting, presentations, and executive communications
Track action items, stakeholder feedback, and communication deliverables
Maintain centralized repositories for communications, governance materials, and reporting artifacts
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, communications, and stakeholder engagement processes
Support ad hoc executive requests and time-sensitive deliverables

Required Qualifications

10+ years of professional corporate experience
8+ years of communications experience
5+ years developing executive presentations, communication plans, reporting frameworks, and strategic recommendations
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple business areas
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries
Background in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, or technology organizations
Technical writing experience
Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Copilot
Exposure to executive governance, board reporting, or leadership communications
