Role: Java Backend Developer
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support REST APIs and microservices.
- Work with cloud & container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in modern, distributed and event-driven application development.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Experience with Kafka/message-driven architectures.
- Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker.
- Good understanding of relational databases.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
