We are currently seeking an experienced Learning & Development Instructional Designer to join a growing team within a leading financial institution. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape learning experiences that support strategic business priorities across multiple national teams.
Working closely with Learning & Development leaders and business stakeholders, you will design engaging, innovative, and impactful learning solutions that drive employee performance and business outcomes.
This role offers excellent visibility across the organization, exposure to senior leaders, and the opportunity for contract extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop high-quality blended learning solutions using adult learning principles and industry best practices
- Create engaging eLearning, simulations, videos, job aids, performance support tools, and communication materials
- Lead project scoping, learning strategy development, and content planning activities
- Develop storyboards, scripts, curriculum frameworks, prototypes, and learning assets
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and recommend effective solutions
- Create executive-level presentations and communications for senior leadership audiences
- Ensure accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and learner engagement are incorporated into all learning solutions
- Manage multiple concurrent learning projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Stay current on instructional design trends, learning technologies, and emerging best practices
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Experience
- 5+ years of Instructional Design experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
- Strong experience designing blended learning programs and performance support solutions
- Experience creating presentations and communication materials for senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency with:
- Storyline 360
- Rise 360
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Powtoon or similar video development tools
- Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
Nice-to-Have
- Previous experience within a Financial Institution
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale learning initiatives
- Knowledge of learning measurement and evaluation strategies

Interview Process
- Two rounds of interviews (30-45 minutes each)
- Candidates will receive a take-home assignment prior to the first interview
- Assignment must be completed within 48 hours
