Job Title: Platform Engineer – Release Train Strategist II

About the Role: Join a leading financial institution supporting a Global Transaction Banking platform. This role focuses on platform engineering, software delivery modernization, DevOps transformation, and AI-enabled engineering within a large enterprise environment.
You will partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and product teams to improve developer productivity, modernize software delivery, and accelerate adoption of modern engineering practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support platform engineering and software delivery modernization initiatives.
- Design and implement CI/CD, automation, DevOps, and release processes.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted engineering and developer productivity tools.
- Support GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, source control, and developer workflows.
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise for priority modernization initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of overall experience in software/platform engineering or related areas.
- Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, release automation, and software delivery modernization.
- Experience implementing modern engineering practices in large enterprise environments.
- Experience evaluating/adopting AI-assisted software development or engineering productivity tools.
- Strong GitHub Enterprise & GitHub Actions experience.
- Understanding of practical AI use cases across the SDLC.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
