Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite)
Contract Duration: October 13, 2026 – October 12, 2027
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $40/hour + 4% Vacation Pay
SCM Procurement Analyst
Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced SCM Procurement Analyst to join their Supply Chain Management team. This role supports procurement activities across Maintenance, Operations, and Site Services, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and services required for ongoing operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong procurement and supply chain experience, a solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, and hands-on experience using SAP and Ariba.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing and procurement activities for materials and services supporting operational requirements.
- Manage procurement processes including RFx development, evaluation, supplier selection, award, and contract execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement support for maintenance and operational projects.
- Work closely with suppliers to expedite orders, resolve issues, and maintain strong business relationships.
- Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Service Center teams on PO confirmations, pricing discrepancies, settlements, and GR/IR reconciliations.
- Provide procurement guidance and policy support to business stakeholders.
- Assist with supply chain reporting, KPI tracking, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify supply chain risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
✅ 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Supplier Management
✅ Strong understanding of:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Procurement lifecycle
- Supply Chain Management practices
- Performance metrics and reporting
✅ Hands-on experience with:
- SAP
- Ariba
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
✅ Strong:
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organizational and analytical abilities
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Attention to detail and compliance focus
✅ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
✅ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, or Heavy Industrial experience
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or related field
- SCMP, CSCP, CPSM, CPM, or related supply chain certification
- Experience supporting maintenance or operational procurement environments
