About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a high-performing team supporting a major modernization and design system refresh initiative for a leading wealth and self-directed investing platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly visible project that will impact the digital experience of thousands of users while working alongside product, technology, and design professionals.

You'll play a key role in designing scalable, accessible, and engaging digital experiences across native mobile platforms, helping evolve the future of investing experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and create reusable components and patterns in Figma for a scalable design system
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implementation-ready
• Design intuitive, accessible, and client-focused mobile experiences across iOS and Android
• Create high-fidelity designs, prototypes, user flows, and interaction models
• Publish and maintain component libraries and design documentation in Figma
• Conduct design QA reviews to ensure quality implementation
• Ensure all experiences meet WCAG accessibility standards
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the design system and mobile experience standards
• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Researchers, and Business Stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle

Must-Have Qualifications

✅ 5+ years of Product Design, UX, and UI experience

✅ Expert-level proficiency with Figma

✅ Experience building, managing, and evolving Design Systems

✅ Strong native mobile design experience across iOS and Android

✅ Deep understanding of interaction design, visual design, and UI states

✅ Experience creating reusable components, patterns, and design documentation

✅ Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design principles

✅ Banking and/or investing industry knowledge

✅ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe InDesign

✅ Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

✅ Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile environments
• Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and storyboards
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and web-ready asset production
• Experience working in complex enterprise digital environments
• Personal interest or experience in investing, wealth management, or financial services
