💰 Pay Rate: Up to $75/hr T4 + 4% Vacation Pay

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Product Designer to support a major refresh initiative for their Wealth and Self-Directed Investing platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a highly visible digital transformation project that will impact thousands of investment clients while collaborating with a talented team of designers, product managers, and developers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Design and create reusable, scalable components within Figma design systems
- Build and evolve design system libraries used across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility and implementation accuracy
- Design intuitive, accessible user experiences for investing and wealth management products
- Create polished interaction patterns and visual UI states for iOS and Android applications
- Conduct Design QA reviews to ensure delivered experiences align with design specifications
- Maintain design documentation, standards, and component guidelines
- Publish and manage design libraries in Figma
- Ensure accessibility compliance, including WCAG standards and evolving mobile platform requirements
- Partner with product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
Must-Have Qualifications
✅ 5+ years of Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Digital Experience Design experience
✅ Expert-level proficiency with Figma
✅ Experience building, owning, and evolving Design Systems
✅ Strong understanding of:
- Interaction Design
- Visual Design
- User-Centered Design
- Design Thinking
- Responsive Web Design
- Native Mobile Design (iOS & Android)
✅ Experience creating:
- Component Libraries
- Design Documentation
- High-Fidelity Mockups
- Interactive Prototypes
✅ Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Banking, Wealth Management, or Investing industry experience
✅ Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
✅ Ability to work onsite in Toronto 3-4 days per week
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
⭐ Experience in Agile product environments
⭐ Knowledge of HTML/CSS
⭐ Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills including:
- Adobe Illustrator
- After Effects
- InDesign
⭐ Experience with:
- User Flow Diagrams
- Storyboards
- High-Fidelity Prototyping
⭐ Personal interest or experience in investing and self-directed trading
