Job Description

Customer Service Associates are responsible for interacting with customers and managing all transactions efficiently and accurately while working with our computerized system

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers  
Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals   
Provide excellent customer service  
Collect payments and bag purchases for customers   
Keep the checkout area clean and orderly  
Maintain front end department merchandise   
Answering front desk phone and directing calls  
Assist other departments and functions as required  
Able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders

Qualifications

Job Requirements:  

Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge  
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment   
Customer satisfaction-oriented  
Strong communication and time management skills  
Problem solving and decision making   
Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset  
Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 4 hours, lift medium size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Process customer purchases, sales, and refunds using cash registers, scanners, payment terminals, and the D365 computer system. Provide customer assistance, bag purchases, maintain the checkout area and front-end merchandise, answer and direct phone calls, and support other departments as needed.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong mathematical and basic computer skills, customer satisfaction focus, and strong communication and time-management abilities. They should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, make decisions, and meet moderate physical demands; retail cashier experience is an asset.
