Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead a high-performing sales organization and drive profitable growth within a designated region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader who thrives on accountability, talent development, and delivering exceptional business results.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be accountable for delivering regional sales, profitability, and customer retention objectives while leading a team of sales professionals to exceed performance expectations.

You will play a critical leadership role in developing talent, executing commercial strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and driving a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with field execution, inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals, and confidently manage a growing and dynamic business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Driving Business Growth

Deliver regional revenue, gross profit, and operating income targets.
Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with corporate objectives.
Drive new customer acquisition, retention, contract renewals, and share-of-wallet growth.
Ensure a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting across the region.
Support strategic customer negotiations and major growth opportunities.

Leading High-Performing Teams

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top sales talent.
Lead a team of sales leaders and individual contributors through clear objectives and accountability.
Conduct regular business reviews, performance discussions, and development planning.
Create succession plans and develop future leaders.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and customer success.

Customer & Market Leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
Champion customer retention and service excellence initiatives.
Identify emerging opportunities to accelerate growth and increase market share.

Commercial Excellence

Drive adoption and utilization of CRM and sales enablement tools.
Ensure pipeline integrity, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined sales execution.
Lead deployment of sales initiatives, promotions, product launches, and pricing strategies.
Partner with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to achieve business objectives.

Financial & Operational Accountability

Manage regional budgets and investments.
Analyze business performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and commercial processes.
Drive operational efficiencies that contribute to overall profitability.

Total Rewards:

CAD $95,300.00 - $143,000.00 annually.

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility. Benefits, subject to eligibility: medical, dental, disability, life insurance, paid time off (including vacation and personal time), RRSP with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee and family assistance program, and coffee discount.

Requirements:

Job Requirements

University Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience.
7+ years of mid-to-senior sales leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
Demonstrated success achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams is considered an asset.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Proven leadership and coaching capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strategic mindset with a strong focus on execution and results.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel within the region or nationally as required (up to 50%)
