This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit

Technical Associate I

We’re looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves person to join our team and build a career as a Technical Associate I in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for equipment preventative maintenance (technical cleaning, 4h filter change). He/she also accomplishes tasks to support the technical service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment preventative maintenance (technical cleaning, 4h filter change);

Clean coffee makers and all other types of equipment;

Change coffee filters;

Clean the environment surrounding the equipment after maintenance.

This list is not exhaustive. Any other related duties as may be assigned by the line manager.

Total Rewards:

CAD $41,900.00 - $54,912.00 annually.

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Benefits, subject to eligibility: medical, dental, disability, life insurance, paid time off (including vacation and personal time), RRSP with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee and family assistance program, and coffee discount.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Secondary school diploma;

1 year in similar technical role;

Mechanical aptitude – previous plumbing/electrical experience;

Food service experience.

COMPETENCIES

Bilingualism in concerned provinces;

Basic computer skills;

Ability to handle a physically demanding job with heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

The Technical Associate is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on coffee equipment, including technical cleaning and filter changes. They also ensure the surrounding environment is kept clean and perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements
