Position Summary
Kiewit is hiring experienced Tig B-Pressure Rig Welders for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.

Located in Squamish, BC, Woodfibre LNG will be the world’s first net-zero LNG export facility, setting up a new global standard for sustainability in the energy industry.

Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding Certification
- Valid BC Class A Pressure Welding Ticket
- WorkSafeBC Clearance Letter
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Willingness to obtain BC registration if holding an equivalent out-of-province ticket
- Minimum 7+ years TIG (GTAW) experience on stainless steel and carbon steel
- Minimum 5+ years SMAW (Stick) hand welding experience
- Ability to pass required CLAC weld tests: Stainless TIG, Carbon TIG, Carbon Stick
- RMD experience
- 14/7 rotation
- Day shifts, 10-hour shifts
- Accommodation provided (Floatel)
- Wage: $119.51/hour
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test

Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, along with hand welding using the SMAW (Stick) process, for the Woodfibre project. Meet project welding standards and pass the required CLAC weld tests.
Requirements
Requires a valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding Certification, a valid BC Class A Pressure Welding Ticket, WorkSafeBC clearance, and a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract. Candidates need at least 7 years of TIG experience and 5 years of SMAW experience, RMD experience, and the ability to pass the required weld tests; equivalent out-of-province ticket holders must be willing to obtain BC registration.
